Why an Independent Inventory
An inventory is required at the start of any new tenancy to document the condition of the property at the start of a new tenancy. This can be undertaken by a landlord, lettings agent or an independent inventory company, such as EXE INVENTORIES. However, if at the end of the tenancy there was a dispute between you and your tenants over the deposit, the registered body holding that deposit will want to see an accurate Inventory accompanied with detailed descriptions and photos, so they can make a formal decision and distribute the deposit accordingly.
